Ms Susan Marshall - Massage Therapist
Hi, my name is Sue, a sincere, kind, compassionate, and friendly lady who loves animals. I love to find new challenges in life. I have 4 grown up children who have all flown the nest. My first born was a boy, followed by a girl, and then boy/girl twins, my claim to fame for a while. I also have two grandsons aged 5 and 3 and a granddaughter aged 20 months. There is always plenty of activity around them and they all keep me terribly busy.
I love to travel when I can. I travelled to New Zealand for my eldest daughter’s wedding in 2017. 12 of us flew out from the UK. We travelled to Sydney, Australia for 2 nights, then went on to New Zealand to North Island. and then South Island, where the wedding was held in Queenstown. It was an amazing experience and I would love to go back one day.
I also love travelling to Greece. I fell in love with the Greek culture, language, and people many years ago. I find them to be very warm, friendly people and I have also spent a few years learning the language. I have friends in Drossia, Halkitha on the mainland who I visit regularly.
I have also developed a keen passion for gardening during lockdown and have grown my first ever tomatoes, runner beans, strawberries and even have a lemon and olive tree.
I have always been interested in the human body, sports, and nutrition; I became vegetarian in January 2015. I have done various sports over the years including cycling, running, swimming and various fitness classes including aerobics, boxercise, step aerobics, and pilates. I have been a member of the gym for many years.
I reached a stage in my life when I felt it was time for something different, a fresh challenge; massage fitted in with my interests and fulfilled everything I was looking for. I threw myself into the course and was very driven for success. I spent many happy hours studying and absolutely loved every second of the course right from the beginning, much to the amusement of my children, whilst they were out partying, I was at home with my head in books! I found the course fascinating and loved learning the complete anatomy and body systems. There was so much to learn, and I discovered how amazing and adaptable the human body is.
I trained at the Midland School of Massage and Manipulative Therapy where I achieved 2 diplomas in Remedial Massage and Sports Massage, Injury and Rehabilitation. I also have a Certificate in Indian Head Massage, a very relaxing and therapeutic treatment. I quickly learnt the many advantages of massage and believe it would be beneficial for most adults to have a monthly massage. It is good for the mind, body, and soul.
I am passionate about massage and find it extremely rewarding, especially when clients give me positive feedback. My clients are especially important to me, I enjoy getting to know them and like to build a good rapport with them. My aim is to always create a positive, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere for all my clients to enhance their treatments.
